Welcome to the NH Renaissance faire's 2008 season!

Fairies, Rennies and Bards will be coming, again, to Kingston, NH for the fourth annual NH Renaissance Faire. This event will take place the weekend before Halloween, (aka Samhain... a Celtic Holiday), on October 25th and 26th, 2008. The First, Second and Third Annual NH Renaissance Faire & Samhain Celebrations had some wonderful things going on and this year we'll have even more; from shopping for handcrafted goods by local artisans to bellydancers, marshmallow-shooting crossbows to wonderful performances of the musical and theatrical kind. Lots of free activities for kids and adults all for about the price of a movie ticket!

The New Hampshire Renaissance Faire is a not-for-profit event with partial proceeds going to local charities. In 2005 we raised $400 for the Blue Ocean Society of Portsmouth, NH.

In 2006 we raised $700 for TWO charities, (they each got $350)! They were; Manchester Animal Shelter and the HUB Family Resource Center. Shaws Supermarkets also donated a $50 gift certificate to each charity so we'd like to thank them for their contribution!

The 2007 charity was the New Hampshire Food Bank. We raised $1200 for them!

The 2008 charity will be the NH Food Bank, again, due to the rise in food costs and their need as well as the large amount of families that they help.
