Welcome
to the NHRF 2011 Act's Area!
So much to do, so little
time... or not! Sat. and Sun., both weekends, we'll be open
from 10am-5pm. On Saturday the 21st be sure to come before
the gates close at 5pm if you'd like to stay for the Beltane
Celebration too at roughly 6pm.
Besides shopping and music
and singing there are many other fun things to do at the faire,
many of which are free! Please note that the "staff" are volunteers
so please consider tipping if you like their performance,
they are volunteering their talents to make this not-for-profit
event be able to help a local charity!
Here is a breakdown of
some of the acts in store for this year, please check back regularly,
though, because things will be added frequently. ALL CONFIRMED
ACTS WILL BE NOTED WITH AN *.

Lotus
Fire Studio *
Dancing for us,
again, this year with us will be the Lotus Fire Studio,
a local troupe that fuse multiple styles and methods.
Please welcome them back!

The
Corr Thieves *
Gracing, (or cursing),
us with their presence again, the Corr Thieves will
be joining us to teach of us the art of cheating! As
well as singing & general entertainment.

Neville
and Companye *
Neville and Companye
will be joining us, again, this year doing live steel
combat and teaching people a little bit about the history
of the combat they reinact!

Shinobi
Martial Arts *
Shinobi Martial
Arts, of Plaistow, NH, will be joining us for the first
time this year, demonstrating the ancient techniques
of jujitsu and showcasing period weapons and forms.
Please welcome them to the faire!

Rose II *
Captain Flint &
her Crew will be doing black powder demo.s & education
again this year. PLEASE NOTE: Safety is their #1 concern,
please keep your children with you at all times when
around the black powder area! Thank Ye

to portraying the members of the Second Chambre of the
Third Escadre of the Tenth Company of the Ordonnances
of Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy, their families,
and the support personnel of the company."

Saint
Andrew's Society
St.
Andrew's Societies were originally Organized during
the period of Scottish Immigration in the 19th Century
in order to assist needy Scots settling in their new
Country. Today the Society educates people about Tartans
and heritage.

Please
welcome to the faire, Gregory Colpitts, who will be playing
the bagpipes for us!

Rufus the Mud Beggar will be joining us again
this year,(yay!), in a slightly different capacity.
He may be unwashed, he might be unclean but he is *definitely*
a class act and we're so glad that he can join us!

Bumbly Phinn & Jass Phinn: Telling oral
tales for the whole family, (not just kids!), Bumbly Phinn
will be joining us again this year! He will be joined
by the lovely flautist, Jass Phinn! Please stop by and
say "hello"! 15/16th only!

* Sir Robin DeHood.
Sir Robin will be demonstrating longbow techniques, from
construction and uses to history. He has been doing archery
for years but this will be his first yeat with us so please
welcome him to the faire!

David
Anderson will be showcasing his magical talents
with usagain this year! "His
skills of sleight-of-hand, magic, unicycling, juggling,
puppetry, and Balloon art never fails to keep audiences
laughing and applauding all at once."

the Dirge Queen will be gracing us with her presence
again this year, singing and playing glorious music of the

Paul
Calvo is going to be joining us again! Paul has
been playing guitar for 40 years and specializes in beautiful
Spanish and Flamenco guitar! |

the Harper and the Minstrel are going to be in attendance
again this year, playing soothing tunes and singing to their
heart's content. Please welcome them back to the faire and
enjoy the music! (5/21 & 5/22, 2011, only) |

* Kate Holly Clark.
Kate, of Antika
Nueva, will be weaving tales for young and old, again,
this year. Fantastic stories for children of all ages,
stop in for a spell!

Sandra, the Flautist, will be joining us, (her
photo soon to come)! Here's Sandra's description of herself:
" I'm a self-trained flautist and composer. My time
spent growing up in rural Maine provided me with much time
to pursue my interests in art, music, history, anthropology,
and archaeology." |

Brother Sylvan, the wandering bard, will be joining
us this year, sharing his poetry and prose with the masses.
He is a New Hampshire author. Please welcome him to the
faire! |

Piper
Gregory will be joining
us again this year for one day only! On May 16th
he'll be on hand, piping away. Please welcome him to the
faire again.

Bob
O' Donnell is a Massachussetts gent. that has been
learning to perform Celtic music since 2001. He then went
on to create his first CD and has recently released his
second, "Songs
from the Glen".
