As Ye know the faire be set for a date(s) that 'tis very close to the Holiday of Beltane which is a Celtic holiday that celebrates the spring. "Great bonfires would mark a time of purification and transition, heralding in the season in the hope of a good harvest later in the year". (-Wikipedia)

Often people erected May Poles on or near Beltane, as we hope to do this year, (ground and time willing). "The maypole is a tall wooden pole (traditionally of maple (Acer), hawthorn or birch) erected to celebrate May Day or Midsummer." (-Wikipedia)

The BELTANE FIREPIT AND CELEBRATION WILL BE HAPPENIN' 'TWEEN 6pm AND ____? ON SATURDAY NIGHT, the 15th, AFTER GATES CLOSE SO COME BEFORE 5pm IF YE WANT TO TAKE PART!

NO ONE IS PERMITTED IN AFTER GATES CLOSE SO COME IN EARLY!... SECURITY WILL ESCORT YOU OUT IF YOU ATTEMPT TO SNEAK IN.

Since it will be dark for this part of the event we asked that every child have someone watching them intently. There be woods with wild animals all around the area we're lookin' at... we don't want any kiddos gettin' lost or scared.

If Ye be slackin' in your watchful duties and/or yer children are bein' unruly and not usin' caution Ye will be asked to leave. No one will be able to relax and enjoy the fun in the wee ones are runnin' loose and might get harmed.
